Kyler Chavez

Kyler Chavez

General Manager

Chavez began young working in kitchens and knew he wanted more from the restaurant industry. With an Associates in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and a Bachelors in Hospitality Administration from Boston University, Chavez’ drive is taking him places. Having worked for the Hyatt Regency in Denver and the Andaz in Maui, Alaska called when he decided to pursue his interest in craft beer. Initially, the General Manager for the 49th State – Denali, he moved into the Director of Restaurant Operations for DV3Corp’s (49th’s parent company) four Denali restaurants. When the expansion to Anchorage came in the form of a 30,000 sq ft., downtown behemoth, the challenge was too great to pass on. Chavez now makes his home in Anchorage year-round when he’s not escaping for a break on the slopes or a craft beer conference.
