Czech Ambassador Hynek Kmoníček joined a sold out audience at the 49th State Brewing Co – Anchorage to discuss the future of Europe from the Czech perspective. This was part of a series organized by the Alaska World Affairs Council. The brewer at the 49th State saw this as the perfect opportunity to brew a Czech-style pilsner in honor of the Ambassador’s visit. The Ambassador Pils was release today at the event and is available at the downtown Anchorage brewpub.
The Ambassador Pils brewed with Bohemian Pilsner malt and Czech Saaz hops lending bready and floral flavors to this balanced refreshing lager.
ABV: 4.7% IBUs: 30 Ingredients: Bohemian Pilsner malt, Munich malt, melanoidin, carafoam, Czech Saaz hops.
Ambassador Kmoníček currently serves as the Czech Ambassador to the USA. He has served in a variety of roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1995. Prior to becoming Ambassador to the USA, Ambassador Kmoníček served as the Director of the Foreign Affairs Department within the Office of the President of the Czech Republic. He has also served as the Ambassador to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
